Gifts for Teen Boys: Things to Wear

I know, I know, teen girls are the ones who are supposedly so into clothing, but I think teen guys are pretty interested too, they’re just not so outspoken about it. Here are some things your teen boys will love to get and wear.

Hoodies from Hope Outfitters: I love this company, their designs and their cause! They donate a portion of their proceeds to different non-profits—sometimes to pro-life organizations, organizations fighting sex-trafficking and more. I have purchased my teen boys several things from Hope Outfitters, but I think my favorites are their hoodies.

A Casio Everyday Watch: My boys love watches, but their favorite kind are the everyday, Casio watches that are waterproof and comfortable to wear each day. They love how these watches can’t get scratched or anything like that.

Beanies: Teen boys and girls alike love their beanies. They wear them so much that they really should have a few favorites so there’s always one to wear while the others are in the laundry!

Palladium Boots: These are some of my teen boys’ favorite boots ever. These are super comfortable and can be worn with jeans casually or with dressier pants to look a little nicer.

Nice socks: Sometimes when I’m folding my kids’ clothes I just feel bad for them—ha! I love nice socks—they just feel good on your feet! Teens’ feet matter too, so they will love nice socks. Smart Wool socks are always a good choice!

Gifts for Teen Boys: Things to Read

Classics: To give a classic book is always a good idea, but especially for teens. I look at it like this: even though my kids still live at home, I can start to help them build their own libraries now. Someday when they have their own fabulous home libraries, I think they will thank me 😊 Ideas:

  • Animal Farm
  • To Kill a Mockingbird
  • The Great Gatsby
  • Lord of the Flies
  • The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
  • The Call of the Wild
  • The Screwtape Letters
  • The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Magazines: My teen guys love magazines! There are a plethora of magazines out there to choose from. (I suggest doing a little digging before you order though because some can have questionable content.) We have ordered National Geographic and the History Channel mags in the past.

Personalized Study Bible: This is something they will have forever. We love the ESV Study Bible. The leather option is so classic and then to have it personalized adds just another layer of specialness.

Gifts for Teen Boys: Fun + Games

Chameleon: My boys love this game! Super fun for family game night or with friends.

Spike Ball: Very high-energy game to play outside with friends!

Magnetic Dartboard: Fun to hang in a bedroom and play while hanging out.

Eno Hammock: Teens love these little hammocks. They pack away into a backpack and can hang pretty much anywhere.

JBL Flip Five Speaker: Great little speaker that is super loud—which they love! It’s also got a long charge-life and is water resistant.

Record Player: A super fun gift if you have a teen boy who loves music!

Subscription Gift Ideas

Dwell Differently Subscription: You can read about this awesome subscription (with temporary tattoos!!) here.

Universal Yums Box: Ok, these are SUCH FUN monthly boxes. What teen doesn’t love snacks!? This is a monthly box of snack foods from a different country each month. Our family loves this box!

Eureka Crate: This is a really advanced kit by Kiwi Co for ages 14+. We have done several of these boxes and they are such a great STEM activities for your teens! There is so much technology shoved in our kids’ faces each day, I love the idea of giving our teens a better alternative to entertain them.

I hope these ideas help you get a good amount of shopping done for your teen boys! Merry Christmas!
