Everything You Need to Know About CTCMath Online Curriculum
Today I am excited to share a full review of CTCMath, an online math curriculum for homeschoolers. Researching new curriculum can be overwhelming. With the amount of excellent curriculum out there it can be difficult to determine what might be a good fit for your individual children. If you are a new homeschooler looking for the right math curriculum fit, or if you are looking for a switch for your kids who might be struggling with math, look no further!
In this review I will share everything that’s included in CTCMath curriculum, why we’re loving it, and how we’ll be using it this year.
What’s Included in CTCMath Online Curriculum?
With over 1400 video lessons, CTCMath is committed to building confidence in kids’ math skills. Lessons are all under 9 minutes long, which is great for holding the attention of a child who may not LOVE math. If a lesson drags on and on a child (or an adult for that matter!) will inevitably tune out. These lessons are perfect for short, concise explanations of the topic.

CTCMath Online Curriculum: What I’m Loving
I’m sorry to say, my children do not love math. (Maybe they get that from me??) So I love when we can incorporate something into our homeschool that hones math skills without a ton of commitment. Please no painful lessons or tears! CTCMath is checking the pain-free and tear-free boxes for us. Here are a few more things I’m loving:
- Progress reports for each individual child are compiled, making it easy for parents to identify areas of weakness that need further work…love this!
- The curriculum is for grades K-12 so it’s a great “bang for your buck” curriculum! I love that if my kids’ skills stretch over multiple grade levels, they can jump around and work on what they actually need to work on.
- CTCMath is a great curriculum for the whole family! With full curriculum from K-12, CTCMath is the perfect resource for families with multiple ages, making it affordable for the whole family.
How We’ll Be Using CTCMath Online Curriculum
Another thing I absolutely love about CTCMath is that you can use it as it fits your families needs. If you need a math curriculum for daily lessons, this fits that bill. If you’d rather have a solid supplement to help build confidence and help your child work on certain skills, this is great for that too.
While CTCMath is a full curriculum, we will be using it as a supplemental resource for areas that need further work. I plan on using CTCMath on days where we need a lighter day of school but still want to continue practicing math concepts that are sometimes easy to slip on. Even through the summer, we’ve been keeping up on math with CTCMath and it’s been painless and easy!
