Today is errand day and I’ve got lots to do this morning, but I wanted to give you my one more section of my Summer Plan….
the food part 🙂
Planning my menu is not my favorite chore. Getting the groceries is even worse. But I came up with a plan a while back to take a little headache out of the mix.
Here is the Summer Menu. I chose 15 meals that are summery, easy, quick and simple ingredients to make my entire summer’s menu. When I am getting ready to go to the store I just look at my list of meals, choose the next 5 (Monday-Friday…I usually don’t cook a whole lot on the weekends), and quickly make my grcery list and fill the meals in on my menu page…hold on I’ll get to that part. All of these meals are fast and simple because it’s summer. I would normally have a lot of grilled meals, but since our grill didn’t make it on the moving truck we don’t have one right now 🙁
A lot of the meals I chose were discoveries from blogs, so I thought I’d give you my list of meals and their links if there is one…if there isn’t, I’ll try to share those recipes throughout the summer.
