As a stay-at-home mom, there have been days where the world has felt so big and loud and my life has felt so small and insignificant. It can start to lead me down a path of wonder what my purpose is. What difference am I making really?
But Mother Teresa once told an excited onlooker who wanted to make the impact that she was making in his own life this: “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.”

This quote has always made me stop in my tracks. Stop wondering what my purpose is. Stop questioning if my work at home has value or impact.
But this quote doesn’t just give me validation of my work as a mom, it gives me the determination to do it better. It makes me think about the word “families,” and who that really means…my friends, neighbors, my sphere of influence. Mother Teresa’s words bring so much meaning and purpose.
