Alicia + Annie’s Favorite Living Christmas Picture Books

In the winter issue of Learning Well Journal, our good friend Cindy West describes living books as “exceptional literary works that have the power to ignite the imagination, stir emotions, and build strong connections between a book and its reader. They don’t shy away from rich language, strong character development, and deep story lines. In turn, children and adults alike enjoy reading them and feel as if the time spent was worth it.” I’m sure just hearing this definition of a living book conjures up a few that your own family has loved!
There are so many wonderful living books out there, and picture books are no exception! This week on the Learning Well Podcast, Alicia and Annie are sharing several of their favorite living Christmas picture books that we are sure you will want to add to your home library.
