Today I am excited to share that I have done exactly one thing to make my life easier this month and made a September menu plan! Each month, I love to send my email friends a freebie calendar for the new month filled with ideas to do as a family, a scripture to memorize together, meal ideas, book ideas and more. But this time, I decided to add a bonus menu planner because who doesn’t need a little help in the meal-organizing department?
Planning a whole month of meals felt like a lot but when I sat down to do it, it actually went really quickly! In the video below, I share some tips on making a monthly menu a little less daunting.

A few menu planning tips:
- We have a few days each week that are always the same:
- Fridays are pizza night
- Taco Tuesday
- Leftovers on Sunday night to clean out the fridge for the week
- I always choose one cookbook to pull from the for week, and in this case, the month. For September, I used 100 Days of Real Food and Fast Recipes of 100 Days of Real Food.
I hope this helps start your homeschool year off on the right foot! Happy menu planning 🙂
