Mother’s Day Crafting + An Artterro Giveaway
Grandma’s here this week, so we’ve been doing some springy crafts with her. One thing I’ve been trying to be better at is planning farther ahead so I’m not scrambling at the last minute, so yesterday we worked on Mother’s Day (grandmother’s day/aunt’s day/general important-woman-in-your-life day) gifts. I received this Wool Jewelry Art Kit from Artterro to review, so it was a great opportunity to make some handmade gifts.
We made three projects, but the kit will make 7 or 8, which is great if you have a kid that wants to keep creating. We made a bracelet, a brooch, and a hair clip for Vera. The possibilities are really endless because there are so many felt pieces and beads and sequins to create with.
We loved the natural materials that this kit offered, as do all Artterro kits. The wool felt and wood beads were my favorite. This kit was a little advanced and worked best with my older kits, but there’s many kits that Artterro offers that would be great for younger ages.
I want to try all their kits really. The art journals look so fun and the Art Dolls too! Besides letting your child’s imagination totally run free, these kits are so cool because even the box is part of the project. You can turn the box into a birdhouse or the tray with all the art supplies into a organizer or a frame to hang up. So even though we’ve made several pieces of jewelry, we still have more to make!
