Every Wednesday I give you a challenge to create your own little piece of happiness, then you blog about it and link up next week.
You are not obligated to link up. You can just do the challenge and tell me about it...I'd love that just as much. You will not hurt my feelings if you don't want to link up. Just read along. It's fun! So stop by here on Wednesdays, say HI, be happy!
I'm not gonna lie. Organization makes me happy. Martha Stewart's new line of labels and tags and binders and sheet protectors make my heart skip a beat. Beyond that though, opening my organized sock drawer does the same thing. Or seeing all my little packets of tea lined up just so in their basket in the cupboard. Ok, I may be getting carried away with myself now. But seriously, being organized just makes me happy...and I'm betting it does the same for you too.
Last week I was like a crazed homeschool mom, alphabetizing, filing, making binders, lesson plans, planning field trips, filling in dates, printing lists. Crazed, I tell ya!! But I LOVE it! I look at my newly organized binders and I smile. It's a good thing.
Today I vacuumed out the crumbs from my lazy susans in the kitchen and organized them. Took out the two half empty boxes of crackers and dumped them in together, threw away old stuff, stacked things neater, took out the unnecessary things. And the rest of the day, every time I needed a napkin or some craisins, it made me smile.
So you guessed it, Challenge #4 is to Organize Something, Anything!
-your bookshelf
-kids' clothes
-Amy, you totally just posted on organizing stuff
-line up your Q-tips neatly in their jar
-refold your towels so they're all going the same direction on the shelf (I'm anal about this)
-pull your winter coats out of the front closet and make room for rain boots and spring coats
-vacuum out your flatware drawer...how does that get so gross anyway??
-clean out your purse
-clean our your car
-declutter
Organize Something! I guarantee a bit of happy will be added to you day :)
Do it.
Blog about it.
Link it next week.
1,2,3 Happy!!

So last week you linked up your Drop it, Do it! challenges and I LOVED THEM!!!
Rach got pretty for you hubs.
Verena baked something special.
Mary was just plain sweet.
Kim painted with her little man.
And Lisa crafted with her girlies.
Thanks so much for linking...I love that you're playing along!

Your challenge last week was to: Do Something Gross on Your To Do List, Then Reward Your Sweet Self. Like I cleaned up poop...and I don't have a dog. It was someone else's dog's poop. Ya, let's not talk about it again. Uck!
If you did do this challenge and blog about it, go ahead and link up! If not, that's cool too, I'll still love you.
Happy Wednesday!!
xo,
{alicia}
Don't forget the whole "add the button" rule and the whole "link to your post, not your blog" rule. This is official business...thanks. ;)

Good Morning, Alicia,
Thanks for the challenge. Yesterday, I organized my 'To Do' list...just so I could try to get organized! Maybe I can get some photos taken after school today and join your linky party!
Have a wonderful Wednesday. ~Natalie
Hi, Alicia,
Am I linking this right this week? Anyway, here's my challenge post for this week:

Lisa
well this should be easy peasy for me! i HEART organizing and cleaning!
sounds like we're cut from the same cloth, girl.
towels folded, cupboards neatly organized...you know what would challenge me? to mess up my neatly lined canning goods, or let my kids fold laundry! hahaha!
i LOVE this challenge, and i love this whole series! :)
have a happy day sweetie!
YEAHHH!! This week's challenge will be a sinch since there is ALWAYS something in my house that needs to be organized! Thank you for the motivation to get er' done!
I SO wanted to link up this week with doing something gross, but it just didn't get done. Ergh! Does potty training count? Because I've had to clean up some pretty gross accidents. Nuff' said. Have a happy day my friend!
Already organising!! And I'm feeling very good about it. Of course you are super inspirational with your sweet photos. Enjoy your day!
I just organized our entry closet--putting away heavy winter coats and snow boots to make way for flip flops and lighter jackets! It makes me smile to be able to open the door and see everything so neatly organized. Thanks for the encouragement to organize other closets, rooms, too!
This challenge shouldn't be hard for me either since I have a whole messy house that needs organizing! Every closet, every drawer! Yikes. I am knee deep in shoes trying to organize them cause with three girls we have tons! Thanks for the challenge! I. can. do. this! LOL!
Good thing my boss decided to do a little spring cleaning the other day! The challenge: onto my apartment!
Hi Alicia! I linked up but I couldn't get your little picture thingy to work (I don't know what it's called, but the one with the code that I am suppose to add to my post) Has anyone else done it?
hey sweets! i used to be an organization freak just like you. and then something happened. i had my first baby, quit my full time ministry administration job and then quit being organized. it was freeing for awhile, but now it's not. ha. i need some motivation in this department! so thank you. : )
My spring list - and do-before-baby arrives is so huge that I need this kick start! Thanks Alicia.
I love those colors in the MS supplies! I may have to go a-hunting.
This is fun and
I hope to jump
in, soon! I'm still
catching up from
vacay and playing
nurse and sole
driver, this week.
Funny, my next
post is about getting
organized, so this
made me smile : )
Happy Easter, A!
