weekending

First off, y'all are so sweet and you left me some super sweet prescriptions on my last post. I always love that. It sounds like some of you might be in a bit of a slump of sorts as well. Do no fear, the doctor will be back this week with a prescription for all of you!

Now on to the weekend...

Saturday we tidied up the garage. There's a chance I may even be able to park in there as soon as we get some hooks to hang up the bikes! Yeah for using the garage for a car!!

I tidied up the balcony as well...soon to be filled with lots of blooming things. I love that! I also shopped for all the stuff for my Spring line coming out the end of this month!

While I did that, Jarrod took the kids on a hike.
A very long hike.
They were gone all day. It was nice. My little babies hiked 6.4 miles!!
They slept well. Very well...like through church. Lazy Sunday mornings are very nice.

Sunday lunch called for Jimmy Johns...downtown. If I never teach you anything ever, please remember this...do not ever go downtown Asheville without your camera. You will regret it.

There's always something to see.

We did a little shopping as well.
I picked up this little cutie on clearance...I would have paid triple the asking price.

My son's first facial hair...such a proud day.

We modeled some glasses...mine came home with me. Truth is, Jarrod got new Ray Ban specs and I was jealous. Do you guys know how cute glasses are?? I kept asking if I could try his on. I annoyed him enough (within the span of one hour) that he bought me my own...the cheaper Urban Outfitter version of course. And so I could see better, of course ;)

Coffee and paper break at the bookstore coffee shop before we head home.

At home we all found our corners to read, rest, and play...quietly.
I finished the first book of The Hunger Games...um, ya...good book.
There's something weird about the way she writes about kissing though...it just seems weird. I can't quite put my finger on it though. Maybe just the way she says things like "more kissing". I don't know. I know that makes no sense. I will do a full book report soon...I'm 100 pages into book two now.

I wore my glasses...to see better of course ;)

Happy Monday!

Sweet days!
I am reading the H.G.
now....Gotta finish before
the movie comes out, which
my oldest wants to see
when it opens at midnight!
Think that is during their
spring break, so we will
probably do it. Look forward
to seeing your spring stuff!

Happy Monday,
Suzanne

I can't wait until we can make the trek out to Asheville! It so looks like my kind of town.
Reminds me of Austin.
Glad you are enjoying the books...I finished book 3 and now I can't wait for the movies.
P.S. You are rocking those glasses ;)

i finished book 1 and i'm on page 213 in book 2....my 11 year old read them before me (maybe a mistake) but i'm not sure what he thought about the kissing...it seemed innocent enough, but i'll have to preview book 3 before he gets his hands on it!

your weekend looked great! and sophie, she's just so too cute!

Looks like a great weekend. I thought the kissing thing was weird in the book too. And lucky you! I can't get the 2nd book anywhere. I mean, I could buy it, but I don't like buying books because I usually don't read them again, so. It is checked out at EVERY library... ugh!

Sweet post, and I need to break down and read The Hunger Games this weekend. I love YA books, and it has been in my TBR pile for a long time! I expect your full book report to be ready by this weekend. Double-spaced for my tired old eyes! ;P

#3: Can't wait to see what you've got brewing for your next line!! Any chance I can get a preview? I needed you big time yesterday, my creative juices were all dried up.
