Goooood Mornin'!! Believe me, that sounded much more peppy than I actually am...
and we're going to have to take our coffee to go. Why, well because we're moving and the realtor's sign in the yard is proof. This house is in tip top shape and when it's in tip top shape, no body moves...we just sit with our legs crossed and wait..........................................................................
.............................................................
so let's get out of here so I can loosen up a bit.
How are the showings going? Well, good I think.
There was a couple here for the THIRD time yesterday.
That's good right? Next time they want to see it I may just ask for rent :)
SOOO praying for an offer today! We shall see, but this "house as clean as a hospital" gig isn't really working out with 5 people in here.
I mean, my house is usually CLEAN, but UNcluttery is different...
there's always just STUFF everywhere.
So, pray with me huh? I'm exhausted with this in and out of my house stuff, even after a week!
It froze here last week and gave my seasonal allergies a much needed break.
The night before the freeze, I sent my kids out to pick all the tomatoes. See that little hand to the right of the grill? Ready to make the drop into the bowl? She was the runner, the boys were the pickers. I took pictures through the window. My allergies were super bad that day. But don't you love it when your kids work together...without arguing?! Yes, me too.
I made this for my sis. It's her birthday and I stuck it in the mail for her yesterday...
she loves yellow and grey...hope she likes it :)
Sophia has her second ballet class tomorrow.
Yeah!
Here's some pictures from last week because I know you're dying to see...
And speaking of Sophia, she totally looked like a camp counselor yesterday.
T-shirt...check!
Braided pigtails...check!
Kacki shorts...check!
I told Jarrod this and he just looked at me....
tell me I'm wrong here...
ya, thought so.
We are movin' and shakin' with school already.
I feel like we just snap back and it's like summer was never here.
Here's some first day shots...
Look at what a nerd I am...Noah's like, "ummmm, aren't I a 4th grader now?"
Oh, yes...yes of course you are.
Wow.
I'm off. Off to educate my children which may or may not be a good idea, based on my scatterbrainedness, and try to think of all the things I have to do...
there's so much to prepare, but I don't really know what to do.
Does that make ANY sense?
Ok.
Bye.
xo,
{alicia}
PS: I'm getting a haircut today. I need a little changy-poo.
Come over to Amy's (she's the sweetest thing) and have more coffee :)

You will get a great offer soon! I can feel it.
My kids all said, "Aww" when I showed them the picture of Soph. And having been a camp counselor in my former life, I feel I'm officially official enough to say yes she does look *just* like a camp counselor. From Canada. ;)
Can't wait to see your new hair cut! :)
Isn't your little girl just adorable in her little ballet leotard?!
A. Sophia is an adorable ballerina!
B. Sophia has a future as the cutest camp counselor ever.
C. I totally understand what it's like to keep a house "show" ready...lots of work.
D. Dear Heavenly Father,
Please be with Alicia and the family as they are making this transition. Help them see that they are following your will by making the sale of this house evident and fast. Help them find peace in the monotony of continually tidying. Be with the children as they learn about this new adventure while still trying to maintain a schedule. Your plan is flawless and we are so thankful for that!
In your name we pray,
Amen!
E. Have a Blessed Day, Biz
Hope your house sells quick! I remember your post about your yard, and thinking what an adorable place!
Praying for you my bloggy friend, especially that the house would sell!! :)
Also, your little Sophia might be the sweetest thing I've ever laid my eyes on... The shot with her hair in a bun... *sigh* So cute! A true ballerina!
Blessings!
i remember moving. it's so hard. i know it'll pay off though. keep hanging in. and i'll be praying for an offer. third times a charm, right?!!!
your ballerina is a beauty.
good thing you're 4th grader is laid back. i can imagine my sage causing a ton of drama over something like that in the future.
mmm, enjoyed your coffee and i don't even like coffee! ; )
Your sister's present is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I LOVE it. She is going to squeal when she opens it. Seriously : )
I love your pictures with the signs for the kids. Such a great idea.
I love this song.
I love the feel here. It is perfectly magical.
I will pray you get an offer soon.
Love, Becky
your kids are so CUTE!!!
love the pix!

Three visits? You HAVE to get an offer after that! I hope it sells quickly ... it's so hard to keep a house market-clean and still maintain a somewhat normal life.
I'm glad that the house showings are going well - it's soooo stressful to keep the house looking ready! I just don't know how you can do all of that AND homeschool - seriously you're amazing!
We'll have to get together sometime for real coffee before you leave!
oh alicia, last time we moved the kids were 20 months and almost 3 1/2...nightmare! i was so stressed over keeping that dumb house picked up all the time. i am praying yours goes fast....but wow, someone looking at it for the 3rd time sounds like a very good sign!
she IS a mini camp counselor, i love it...and all the pictures...and you messing up what grade your oldest is in....and the bulletin board...love it all! thanks for coffee, mama!
I could do with endless pictures of Sophia in her loose ballet tights. Though she is a spunky cute counselor too.
After listening to some of your music I'd like to offer a listen of Cloud Cult. Pretty wonderful. Also, happiness on your next chapter and the closing of this one. The best closed books will still maintain a spot on the shelf.
okay...i am trying nott olaugh out loud since everyone is asleep. about the sign...i'd totally do that too. mommy brain. and then...you spelled kindergarTener wrong! i'm not one to point out mistakes. um i don't even write in capitols for peet sake. but it just cracked me up all over the place! i'll say a prayer for you tonight! you are amazing, hang in there, Jesus is holdin' you!
ya need to frame those ballet photos - she is just the sweetest little thing!
Audrey added her first class of tap to her ballet lessons yesterday- needless to say she's hooked and we gotta lot of floorboards in this big old house for her to tap along!! hmmmm!!
super exciting house selling- thinking of you- i know what that *keep it all in order* with 5 is like!!
love your home sweet home- that's gotta sway those third time visitors to buy - surely!!
good luck!
Melissa- Miss Sew & So
xx
Wow, I hope you do get an offer from the couple....that would be fantastic! You haven't had your house listed that long. I will say a little prayer for you!
*love the ballet class photos*
Oh, boy the dreaded house showings...my mom is selling their house and they drive around the block a bazillion times until they get the all clear. We are thinking of putting our up for sale next spring and I'm so dreading that part. BEST OF LUCK!
An yes she totally looks like a camp counselor. :-)
