So last Saturday, was full of projects and productivity.
My favorite!
You may remember this photo from my 10 on 10 set:
This was my view for about an hour...the time it took me to paint an old picnic table.
See that guy in the background?
Productivity.
After helping his uncle do some fix-ups on his house, my banker was sent home with his old picnic table.
Free. Yeah!
It needed a little love, but it's found it's place in our family.
We needed a little table to fit on our little patio...and those are harder to find than you would think.
I didn't get very good "before" pics, but here's the top of it, halfway painted, after a crazy painty art project was conducted on it....
And the guy in the background?
What was he doing?
What was he wearing??
Well, I can answer the first question...
5-board bench. Ana White's blog. Free project plans. Hooray!
He made two. They fit perfectly with our little square castoff.
And are you dying to see the final look?
Well, get ready cause I took a lot of pictures...
UPDATE* The paint color I used for the table and benches is called Wool Skein, exterior paint. I believe it's a Sherwin Williams color. I already had it on hand because it's the same color as our window trim outside.
All the outside stuff is 70% off at Target right now.
We found this umbrella for $44...originally $124! Score!
Gotta love Target :)
And these little banners may or may not be making an appearance in my shop very soon.
A lady never tells.
Does that phrase fit there?
Cause I just really wanted to say that.
These little ladies got a fresh coat of paint.
They do about every other year.
I've never painted them the same color twice.
They're ladies of change.
This time they're called "Eden"...Rustoleum x2 Coverage...best spray paint EVER!
I'm not exaggerating...it's seriously the best!
So that's what I've been working on.
How about you?
And if you're not working on anything or just got done working on something and need a refreshing drink, here's little recipe.
Be careful and read closely, as my recipes are always very complex and confusing. ;)

Be still my heart!! I LOVE your outdoor space! So inviting . . .
I'll be right over to have a glass of that yummy lemonade. :) Oh how I wish my dear friend! You did a beautiful job!
Wow Alicia! Looks great :) Yummy yummy lemonade too! If only it was summer time here in Australia...
... Who am I kidding - I can drink lemonade in winter! :)
Looks like the best place to hang out with a nice glass and watch the fireflies come out in the evening.
It is amazing what a coat of paint will do...your table looks adorable! And I love the powers of bunting...what a great place to add even more color in such a cute way!
Wow Alicia! Your little patio looks so fantastic and inviting :o)
I love those chairs! The table was a total score. It all looks so pretty. Wish I could sit back there with you and SIP on some of that lemonade:-) Had to use my phone to comment. I hate technology glitches!
It looks adorable! I need you to come over to help me with my pitiful patio ;-)
Beautiful! What is the paint color you used on the table and benches. It's so soothing!
This is a BEAUTIFUL outdoor space! Great job--it all looks wonderful. And I'd say that those chairs might want more than one year at this color--they're obviously very happy in "Eden."
