10 on 10 {instagram version}

I am not a real techie person. The fact that this blog is functioning is pure trial and error. I could honestly care less about Kindles, iPods, or whatever.
But my banker is the opposite, and when our cell phone contracts allowed us some new phone updates he insisted on iPhones.
The main reason I didn't raise a stink was because I've been seeing my blog girls posting these super fun photos using their Instagram apps...and I love 'em!

I'm still totally clueless, but I did manage to get 10 pics for today's 10 on 10.

Photo taken by Jack. I had just woke up. Notice the death grip.

Yogurt and English Muffins with Mama's Rhubarb Jam...recipe to follow soon.

Yesterday was a busy day, filled with a whole lot of random.
Errands, Lunch, Projects.

Here's a bit of project.

I cut out tons and tons of little triangles for something I'm working on for my shop.
I could be addicted to cute fabric.
I find myself smiling at it while I'm working.
Is that normal?

More projects:

I was painting a table outside and now, in hindsight, I realize it looks like I was smelling my paint brush...which I was not.

While I painted, the kids did this:

And then we made snow cones...and oh my sweet fun!
This calls for a post all of it's own.
So so fun.

Then we headed for a bigger pool.
Have I ever told you I have a phobia about the public pool?
I do.
We always go to my aunt and uncle's pool.
It's beautiful and it's private.
I don't know what it is exactly about the public pool...maybe all the people, or all the kids, or anxiety over my kids going three different directions...I just prefer the private one.

And then home again after dinner.
Exhausted from an afternoon of sun.

We ended the day with Little House on the Prairie, as we have for months.
Noah's reading his own books, but the two little ones are completely sucked in.
So am I!  So much better the second time around.

Tired. But satisfied.
Another summer day well spent.

What a great day :o) My mom read all the Little House books to us as kids as well as Farmer boy. Some of the best books ever written and I love the memories we have of our mom reading to us.

Great set! I read all of the Little House books to my kids and it took us a few years. We finished the last one a few months ago and I miss them so. Looks like you guys are having a great summer!

Sounds like a perfect summer day! I remember having many days like this with my daughters in the summertime. They are grown up and out on their own now, but I still am so glad we took the time to have summer special days like you are having here. Unforgettable and beautiful memories. We even read the book Little House on the Prairie in the evenings before they went to sleep, just like you are doing. Enjoy..enjoy...enjoy these special times!

1. I too have a new LOVE for fabric.
(oh how I wish we could have a crafter afternoon together!!)
2. My girls have been BEGGING me for snow cones! Can't wait for the tutorial!
3. I strongly DISLIKE the public pool! I Strongly wish I had a nearby aunt who had a pool. I only take the girls so they can have fun pool memories. :)
4. I too have a CRAZY death grip on my morning coffee- it loosens up around the 3rd cup. :)
5. Once again, I think you are adorable.
Not sure what's going on with my numbers- I guess I'm feeling a little need for organization.
Have a fabulous day!

What a fun day! LOVE the drinking from the hose, and the snow cones. You packed a lot into one day!

Is Noah reading to you? My kids always wanted to read to me and I would fall instantly asleep . . . every time. Hey, I should get them to come read to me when I have insomnia.

Aren't summer days fun?
