craft time!

This post is a hodge podge of the projects we've been working on the last couple of weeks.

First was some little ornaments.
Each kid colored a picture on a piece of fabric.

Then, I found some tiny embroidery hoops and painted them red.
Then we stretched their little pics over the hoops and glued the excess fabric to the back.

Then...

We made some pepperminty ornaments...

Just arrange your little peppermints on a piece of aluminum foil.
Bake at 250 degrees for about ten minutes till they start to melt together.

Then glue a piece of ribbon on the back to hang.

Then....

We made mugs to give to friends and family.

We just used plain white mugs and some paint pens.

concentrate....

I just added a little bag of old fashioned candies and that's that!
So there's our craft-fest...never a dull moment around here. :)

have a great Wednesday!

I wanted to just say thanks so much for all the sweet comments and emails on yesterday's post.  You reminded me I'm not alone and also how much blogging has blessed my life.
No offense husbands, but sometimes a girl just needs a girl's comfort...thanks girlies :)

Those were all so great. My fav was the mugs though. They turned out awesome. Isn't the blogging world supportive? I don't know what I would do without my girls!
