Life Lessons

I usually don't read most forwards I get in my inbox, but I did read one today that was really inspiring to me. It was written by a journalist at an Ohio newspaper that had just turned 90. The article was simply 45 things that life had taught him. I won't list all 45, but they were all good. Here's some that I found especially good...

~Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
~When in doubt, take the next small step.
~You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
~Make peace with your past, so it won't screw up your present.
~Don't compare yourself to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

~Growing old beats the alternative-- to die young.
~Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
~Over prepare, then go with the flow.
~No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
~Forgive everyone everything.
~Your children only get one childhood.
~Yield.
~Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

Life is good....have a great day!
